175 days to go

I love long weekends. They should all be that way. Saturday morning we went to Helena for the last time. The best part of our trip was the drive, the scenery is amazing. The rest of the trip was a waste. There were no maternity clothes anywhere. We went into Ross and I got a pair of capri pants that will probably fall apart after the first wash. Oh well. We did get to have lunch at our favorite place, but at 2pm they had a limited menu, so that was a bummer. All in all, we spent about 2 1/2 hours in Helena and then came home.

Sunday it was rainy so we ran some errands. Sears is having a great sale on washers and dryers so we got a pair! We wont be able to use them until we get to our next base, but it will be so nice to be able to choose the temperature we want to dry our clothes.
Monday we went to play golf. The weather was great. I haven't played since last year so we went to the driving range first. I don't know if it's the belly, but my swing was horrible. Not only that, but the twisting motion made a sharp pain in my lower tummy, which is a no-no. I only hit about 7 balls and called it quits. So I played caddy for mike, well, cart-driver, score keeper, and advice giver. "Keep your head down. Relax." That's what I had to say at every hole. We had fun.

So here we are at 15 weeks. Time just flies. I am still tired, of course. I wake up at about 3 every morning and have a hard time going back to sleep. I have been sleeping funny on my right arm, so for the past week or so my shoulder has been killing me. I wake up in pain several times every night. It's driving me crazy. Right now I can barely lift my arm at all.

My only other complaint right now about pregnancy is that my bladder must be the size of a jelly bean. I have to go all the time! And when I do go, it's hardly anything at all! Is this normal??? Oh, and the heartburn has started. That's the worst. But with all of my complaints, I really love being pregnant. It is the most amazing feeling to know that I have a little person in my belly, and boy do I have a belly!

14 weeks

My boss says that if I were green, I would look like the Grinch. Thanks, Jo.

Yeah, this weekend we are going to Helena to see if I can find some maternity pants. I can't wear anything at this point. It's pretty depressing when I have to get ready for work. I am going to wear out the few things I got in NC very soon unless I get some more pants!

I have been feeling better lately. I still stay tired, but that should get better soon. I can cry over anything! I have cried watching The Matrix, last night I cried watching my new favorite show Dhani Tackels the Globe (the one when he is in Russia- I loved that coach!), and I also cried last night when I stepped on the scale. I wish I was making that up, but I'm not. I haven't really gained that much weight, I'm right on track! I just felt like crying.

Gosh, in this picture I look like I am as wide as my kitchen! hahahaha Well that's just great.

We had the MS Walk on Saturday. 130 people showed up, which is a record. My neurologist passed me on the walk and told me he was proud of my newspaper interview. I thought it was really cool of him to be there. He does a lot of work and research for MS. This year we had 11 people walk on our team, plus 2 kids.
I didn't plan on walking the whole thing, but the weather was so nice we just kept going... then we had to turn around and walk back. That was killer. I haven't exercised very much since I became pregnant. A 30 minute walk kicks my butt, so 5 miles really did me in. I could barely move on Sunday.

My TV interview actually turned out great. It is so funny! You have to watch it!

When you get to the page, click on Watch the Video.

Pretty funny huh? My baby is a star already! Ha! I love seeing him/her on there!

13 weeks

Yesterday I hit 13 weeks! I got out of bed at the crack of dawn just so Mike could take a picture for me before he went to work. My tummy is smaller first thing in the morning of course, so I will keep that the constant. After I eat breakfast it's all over. I bloat immediately and look more pregnant than I am.

Tucker obviously thinks he is getting a treat... that silly dog.

I guess the other big news is that a am a celebrity in Great Falls now. The MS Walk is this Saturday and I have not done anything at all to help this year. I have been so tired and sick that it just wasn't a possibility. Heather from the state office called and asked if I would be willing to do an interview for the Great Falls Tribune to promote the walk... out of guilt mixed with passion for supporting the NMSS, I said yes. Even though I told Amanda I would kill her if she put this on her blog because I am so embarrassed, here it is-

The kicker is that one of the news stations saw the article and wants to interview me as well! I get to do that tomorrow morning. I am very nervous even though it's just our small town news station. SO, now I feel like I have fully contributed to the walk this year.

Mike and I have a team that is going to walk and the first week in June we are having a big BBQ to raise money. Last year we raised about $2100.00!

192 days to go!

Hello everyone!

So, I will be 13 weeks on Tuesday, even though the doctor says that the baby looks like it is a week ahead. I am still tired all the time and still dealing with nausea and night sickness. I cannot believe how draining pregnancy is! My doctor gets snippy with me at every appointment because he wants me to drop everything in my life to rest. Exhaustion can lead to MS complications. I know that nothing is as important as a healthy baby right now, but I can't just quit working! Anyhow, that little peanut in there has caused a lot of sickness, but LOOK HOW CUTE! We are so in love after having this ultrasound.

These are baby feet! I had to look at this one about 10 times to see it. It looks like it's little legs are crossed and the photo is looking at the bottom of the feet. You will get it Mema! It just takes some time.

This is the baby saluting us! This was the first thing it did.

Awwwwwww!

The baby is very healthy and growing perfectly. It moves around so much! We could not believe how active it is. I haven't felt it move yet, but the doctor says I will soon. Can't wait for that!!
